Furthermore, representatives of Nursing Departments over the country presented the problems and their reflections on nursing education in all its dimensions (theoretical, practical, undergraduate, post-graduate). Through dialogue and recommendations, very useful conclusions and reflections emerged for nursing education community all over the country, which may well serve as the basis for a more structured and systematic analysis at a subsequent meeting. In addition, an important contribution of the conference was the confirmation and corroboration of close relations cultivating collaboration and friendship between Nursing Departments. Common concerns arising laid the foundation for a systematic repetition of this effort to solve these problems.

In particular, special emphasis was placed on the quality of nursing education, the interdepartmental and inter-country collaborations between Departments of Nursing, the Academic Curriculum and the convergence of nursing departments on common principles and quality education. Activities of Departments which deserve attention and reward were presented as models for future actions. Indeed, the focus of the conference was the students themselves.
