Education: Graduated from the Nursing Department of TEI Larisa (1996) and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2004). Completed an ΜSc in Community Nursing from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2006). Received PhD degree in Community Nursing from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2012) (Doctoral Dissertation: Epidemiological investigation of the female population regarding the Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviors on Human Papillomavirus (HPV)).

Research interests: Community Nursing, Health Prevention Health Promotion – Women’s Health Promotion, Strategies, Management of Primary Health Care Services, School Nursing.

Academic appointments: She was a Lecturer of TEI of Athens (2017-2018). In 2018 she became a Lecturer of the University of West Attica.

Professional experience: From 1998 to 2017 she has worked as a registered nurse in General and Maternity District Hospital Helena Venizelou. From 1997 to 1998 worked for the Laser Dermatology Centre. 

Courses Taught: She currently teaches Community Nursing I, II, Health Promotion and Pevention Nursing, Occupational Health Nursing at undergraduate level. She also teaches School Nursing at postgraduate level.

Other information: She has 17 publications and has participated in numerous national and international conferences (47 oral and poster presentations). Her research work has been recognized by the international scientific community (24 citations). She is also a member of the Community Nursing Division of the Hellenic Nurses Association.
