The aim of the course is for students to understand the role of the School Nurse in the education of the target populations (students, school staff and parents), for the adoption of healthy attitudes and behaviors as well as in the management of health problems and the improvement of the natural and social environment.

- The role of school nurse, skills and competence in school nursing.
- Creating, managing and updating the students’ health records.
- Development stage and educational process.
- Implementation of the nursing process in school nursing
- Health education, health promotion and disease prevention in the school environment at the three levels of preventive care.
- School nurse and environment.
- School nurse and child (acute problem, first aid, eating disorders, vaccinations).
- School nurse and child (chronic illness, allergy, psycho-emotional disorders, cognitive disorders, child with special skills).
