STUDENT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Assessment of students’ participation in identifying needs and problems of the sick and healthy individual, care planning, nursing interventions, educating individuals and groups, and designing the health care plan. Εvaluation of personal essays on case studies.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
The aim of the course is to assist nurse students to apply in practice the theoretical knowledge and skills which have been acquired throughout the theoretical and laboratory courses taught in previous study years concerning the delivery of nursing care, focusing on a patient centered approach, maintaining and promoting health.
At the end of the course students will be able to:
- Assess the needs of healthy and sick individuals, to implement the necessary nursing interventions and evaluate the outcomes of nursing care
- Work in an interdisciplinary environment
- Meet the health needs of the individual in the hospital, home, school and workplace
- Be able to make appropriate clinical decisions
- Develop professionalism and autonomy in work place
- Coordinate the health care team and organize the delivery of nursing care within clinical settings or community.
