LEARNING OUTCOMES
The aim of the course is to provide nurse students with the necessary knowledge on the Principles and Teaching Methods, as well as skills of planning and performing an exemplary teaching, in the context of Nursing. It also aims to help students to formulate positive attitudes towards the educational nursing role at all levels of Health Care Services.
After the end of the course students will be able to:
- Define and determine the purpose and nature of teaching – learning
- Analyze the way in which teaching and learning are related to the role of the Nurse
- Identify and critically analyze learning theories and their impact on the educational process
- Analyze the techniques of individual teaching-learning methods and to connect them with specific nursing cases
- Design and carry out an exemplary teaching session
