Education She graduated the Nursing Department of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she completed a Master of Science in Clinical Nursing and a Master of Science in Management of Health Services Administration (MHSA). She also received her PhD thesis in Home Health Care Nursing.
Research interests Main research interests are the organization of home care services and the way the care provided at home, patient quality of life and satisfaction from the care received, cancer patient care and interdisciplinary health care team aspects at primary health care, technology applications to support home and community health care. She has participated as a researcher in the Erasmus+ program “InterHealth” «Intercultural Competences for health Care Professionals» and in national projects (ESPA projects) «ΑΚΕΣΩ-Ι, Development of an Integrated Post-Hospital Patient Health Care System, coming from Vulnerable Social Groups. Networking of Nursing Services for PHC and Nursing Volunteers of the Hellenic Red Cross with General Hospitals in Athens, Ioannina and Thessaloniki» and «Developement a model for the quality of cancer patients’ health education, self-care and rehabilitation» as well as she was a researcher at European project «health PROelderly: Evidence based guidelines on health promotion for older people: social determinants, inequality and sustainability» and the project COST PROmoting GeRiAtric Medicine IN countries where it is still eMerGing.
Academic appointments: 2013-2018 Lecturer of the Nursing Department of TEI of Athens, 2018-07/2022 Assistant Professor and 07/2022-til now Associate professor of the Nursing Department of PADA.
Professional experience: She has long-term clinical nursing experience (14 years) in the Anticancer Hospital “Agios Savvas”.
