Mr. Kapadochos received his basic degree from the Department of Nursing at Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens (1996). He received his Master’s degree (2009) and Doctoral Thesis (2017) from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NTUA).

From 2010 to 2018 he taught as a Laboratory Instructor at the Department of Nursing at TEI of Athens. From 2018, when TEI of Athens developed into University of West Attica (UNIWA), he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing. Since 2019 he serves as an Assistant Professor.

He teaches the theoretical courses “Cardiology / Cardiac Surgery Nursing” and “Pathophysiology”, also the theoretical and laboratory courses “Emergency Nursing” and “Intensive Nursing” of the Department of Nursing (UNIWA). In the Nursing Department of the former TEI of Athens he was teaching in the Pathological and Surgical Nursing Laboratory as well as in the Intensive Care and Emergency Nursing Units Laboratory.

His clinical experience (1998-2010) derives from the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, at two Intensive Care Units and the Emergency Department as well as the Education Office of the Nursing Service where he held the post of Deputy Head Nurse.

He teaches at six postgraduate programs: “Intensive Care Units” (NTUA), “ICU – Cardiology, Medical and Nursing Care” (NTUA-UNIWA), “Trauma and Ulcers – Treatment and Care” (UNIWA), “Management of Chronic Illnesses” (UNIWA), “Applied Clinical Nursing” in the Pathological Nursing Specialazation (UNIWA) and the Interinstitutional “Pedagogical use of Innovative Technologies and Biomedical Approaches” (UNIWA).

He used to teach in the postgraduate programs: “Laboratory and Clinical Nursing Cardiology” (NTUA-TEI of Athens), “Neurological Diseases, Evidence Based Contemporary Practice” (TEI of Athens).

His scientific fields of interest and teaching are: Cardiology-Cardiac Surgery Nursing, Surgery Nursing, Intensive Nursing, Emergency Nursing, First Aid.

He is certified by the European Resuscitation Council as a provider and trainer in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Cardiopulmonary Recuscitation. He is a certified provider in Pediatric Resuscitation and also in Prehospital Trauma Life Support.

He is a reviewer in three scientific journals and a Deputy Editorial Director in the scientific journal of health professions “Rostrum of Asclepius”.
