• Be able to evaluate laboratory findings in Acute Kidney Injury and Chronic Renal Failure.
• Know about the patient’s preparation for integration into renal replacement therapy.
• Know about methods of renal replacement therapy.
• Recognize the complications of renal replacement therapy.
• Know about the basic principles of hemodialysis and water treatment systems.
• Plan the hemodialysis program.
• Know about the patient’s pre-transplant examination.
• Assess the patient’s needs after a kidney transplant.
• Educate the patient and the family.
