STUDENT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

I. Written final exam (50%), which includes:

    • Essay-type questions
    • Multiple-choice questions
    • Comparative evaluation of theoretical concepts

II. Assignment Presentation (20%)

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The purpose of the course is for students to acquire knowledge and skills related to the biological, psychological, and spiritual needs of the sick child, as well as the needs of the family.

The objective of the course is for students to apply the knowledge they gain to identify health problems in children and their families, and to design methods for implementing nursing care for children of all age groups and their families with specific pathological conditions.

By the end of the six-month course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the pathology of each bodily system, from the neonatal to the adolescent stage, along with appropriate therapeutic and nursing interventions.
  • Describe methods of therapeutic and nursing management for various pathological conditions.
  • Organize nursing care plans and formulate appropriate nursing diagnoses.
