LEARNING OUTCOMES
The purpose of the course is to equip students with knowledge of Teaching Principles and Methods, as well as with skills in planning and executing exemplary teaching, within the framework of Nursing. Also to help them develop positive attitudes towards the educational nursing role at all levels of Health Care Services.
After the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Identify the purpose and nature and define teaching-learning
- Analyze the way in which teaching and learning are related to the role of the Nurse.
- Identify and critically analyze learning theories and their impact on the educational process
- Analyze the modern techniques of individual teaching-learning methods & connect them to specific nursing cases of their application.
- Plan and implement exemplary teaching (lesson plan).
